BRC Construction is a General Construction firm with locations in Colorado, Nevada, California, and Oklahoma.  The founder of BRC Construction, Andrew Hopkins, has over 30 years of construction experience in residential, commercial, industrial, and government projects throughout United States. 

Built-Rite Construction was founded in Colorado by Andrew Hopkins in 2002.  Since then we have expanded into multiple states and re-branded the company as BRC Construction and have established a reputation for excellence that has acquired the highest ratings for quality and value for the construction industry. 

BRC Construction offers services for projects to include, but not limited to, land acquisition and development, infrastructure, ground-up construction, additions, interior finishes, and interior renovations.  BRC Construction also offers services for design-build projects from conception to completion, establishing budgets, Owner representation, and construction management.

Sample Projects

Denver International Airport – The construction of a new lunchroom in an existing computer room located in the Air Traffic Controller’s office on the 10th floor of DIA. The project involved the removal of the floating computer floor system to gain access for the installation of a concrete pan and tile. The project also involved the construction of new walls and the re-configuring of existing plumbing, refrigeration lines and electrical along with the installation of the new cabinetry, sinks, and components for the newly designed space.  The Owner of BRC Construction, Andrew Hopkins, obtained security clearance and was the overall Authorized Agent for the project.

The Sports Authority – Multiple store remodels while the stores were in operation.  Locations were throughout the United States. These projects were highly time sensitive and project schedules had to be strictly maintained. These projects were also performed during after-hours in order to meet our Client’s needs.

Fisherman’s Cove Condominiums – 12 – four story condominium building with a total of 216 units plus a clubhouse in Florida. This project involved the construction of 216 pre-sold units.  BRC had to ensure customer’s selection of finishes and options were addressed in each unit individually. This was a ground-up construction project which included the project’s infrastructure, masonry foundations and exterior walls, pre-cast floors and stairwells, light-gauge steel interior walls, and elevators to each unit.  

Bob Penkhus Volvo Mazda – 2-story auto dealership showroom and offices in Colorado Springs, CO.  This was a ground-up construction project which involved red-iron steel post-and-beam construction, masonry and light gauge steel exterior walls, glass curtain wall, cast-in-place concrete mezzanine, and an electric elevator.

Tires to Green Recycling – Design-Build of a 30,000 sf tire recycling facility in Hudson, CO.  This was an industrial project that involved the design and ground-up construction of the building, electrical, well, septic, and new gas services.  The construction also included the installation of the Owner supplied tire recycling equipment.

Taco Express – Design-Build of a prototype for an emerging restaurant chain in Colorado. This project involved land acquisition, design of structures, infrastructure and ground-up construction. This Owner has slotted and an additional 4 restaurants to be built within the next 5 years.

Georgetown Loop Railroad Bathroom Addition – A State of Colorado project performed for the Colorado Historical Society. This project involved the construction of new restroom and gazebo facilities for the Georgetown Loop railroad. This was ground-up construction which involved excavating and placing the foundation, masonry walls, heavy-timber and trussed roofing system, new plumbing and electrical systems. This project was performed during the off season for the railroad and had to be constructed in adverse weather conditions and was very time sensitive.

Several MMJ Grow Facilities and Dispensaries – There are several projects in Colorado, Washington, Nevada, and Oklahoma. These projects involved the build-out of the buildings, all grow systems and components, specialized security, upgraded electrical and HVAC systems.

Bistro Provencal – Tenant finish of a new French restaurant located in downtown Denver in a multi-use high rise. This project involved converting a previous sales office into a restaurant. There were modifications made to the fire sprinkler and alarm systems, HVAC, electrical, store front, and the addition of plumbing components where they previously did not exist.
